Texts
Convey a concise and attention-grabbing message that's easily comprehensible. You'll capture readers' interest faster.
A maximum of 100 words is allowed in an HTML ad.
If the text to be included is close to the maximum allowed, it should appear entirely on the screen, without using the scrolling-marquee interaction. On the other hand, if you need to prioritize the message, the "Touch" interaction, which allows the reader to access the text via a pop-up window, is recommended.
If your advertising message needs to be longer than 100 words, we recommend the XTRA product, which allows you to present a greater amount of information in the form of native content. Contact your ad representative to find out more.
Type size must be a minimum of 14pt or 19px in a 72ppi image. Otherwise, the texts become illegible on some tablet models.
If you're producing your visuals in Retina format, the font size must be at least 38 pixels (28 points) to guarantee optimum legibility in the final format.
Don't use fractions in your font size (e.g. 16.3456 points), as this will affect display quality.
Be careful with the use of reverse fonts and their contrast. To check the legibility of your ad, you can use this Contrast Finder tool →
Use normal thicknesses of the chosen typeface (do not use too-light or condensed versions).
Specify “Smooth” anti-aliasing in Photoshop preferences.
If you use a non-standard font, you can save it as an image in Photoshop.
